Everything you always wanted to know about high pressure processing (HPP) will be on display in Atlanta, Georgia, October 2-4, as Universal Pasteurization presents the 2017 HPP Summit. Last year’s HPP Summit, held at the University of Nebraska, was a great success, and this year’s event promises to be even bigger and better.
The annual event will feature two days of keynotes and presentations with industry leaders and experts in the food and beverage industry. HPP industry experts from food scientists, retailers and food processors to equipment and services suppliers will be on hand to discuss HPP increases food safety, improves shelf life, and enables cleaner label products.
At the summit, you can learn the basics of HPP and best practices, become familiar with current commercial applications, check out the latest market trends, and learn tips for branding and packaging HPP products. Industry experts will be leading discussions and sharing their HPP and food industry experiences.
Avure’s own Jeff Williams and Dr. Errol Raghubeer will be featured speakers at the summit. Other speakers include Mark Duffy, CEO at Universal Pasteurization, Dr. David Acheson, President and CEO of the Acheson Group; Shawn Stevens, Food Industry Lawyer and Attorney; Joyce Longfield, CEO of JL Nutrition and Food; Manny Picola, Managing Director and Partner, L.E.K. The Cold Pressure Council (CPC), an industry group that focuses on the advancement of HPP, also known as Cold Pressure Technology, within the food and beverage industry will also meet during the conference. The CPC seeks to improve understanding of the techniques and solutions being used to provide all-natural, fresh, safe foods and beverages to today’s marketplace.
