Urtasun Tecnología Alimentaria is a company specializing in the design and manufacture of the most advanced and innovative fruit and vegetable processing machinery solutions.
The company was founded in 1957 by Pedro Urtasun, in the town of Marcilla (Navarre), one of the most traditional agro-industrial areas in Spain.
JBT’s Urtasun production facilities currently occupy a surface area of 7,000 m2, with a workforce of more than 100.
Our capacity to undertake global projects, our clear commitment to customer service, and our excellent quality-price ratio, have all been key factors in the international expansion of Urtasun.
Although we offer direct technical support, with our own teams of engineers, we also have a network of agents present in more than 20 countries, so that we can provide optimum service to customers the world over.
Production Lines
The lines designed by JBT Urtasun are noted for their robustness and durability, guaranteeing maximum performance and optimal product processing, in order to achieve a high quality end result.
Our technical team works closely with our customers on the development of the layout that best meets their needs or requirements.
Processes
JBT Urtasun offers machinery for all the vegetable processing stages, right from the reception of the raw material up to the end of the production process.
Likewise, we can offer the necessary cleaning, mixing, grading, sorting and feeding equipment prior to the packaging lines.
