JBT Urtasun has developed a waste management system in which the removal is done by suction, centralizing into a unique point, the waste from fruits and vegetables processing lines.
Thereby, any kind of transport belts or other equipment traditionally used for waste evacuation are eliminated, suppressing the cost and problems sometimes associated with them.
By using the minimum space, and with a minimum energy consumption, the system developed by Urtasun allows the waste evacuation of both fresh fruits and vegetables as frozen in an efficient and hygienic way.
